Social Media has given us something special: the ability to consume bite-sized enjoyable content from talented Content Creators all over the world, catered to your interests, for free anytime/anywhere.

UP is a new kind of platform to consume social video content on - one that puts your mental health & happiness above your scroll time and speed (platform profits).

In putting people before profit, we've had to make a lot of changes to the traditional social media business model, and will continue to make more changes as we evolve and optimize for user mental health, well-being, enjoyment, and happiness.

Our intent is to allow you to have an app free of harsh or potentially harmful content.

Thoroughly Vetted Content Creators: Before anyone can post, they go through an approval process. Every Content Creator is screened by a Mental Health Council with your psychological well-being in mind.

No Features That Lead To Harm: We've removed the features that can lead to harm - like unsolicited DMs or comment sections that spiral. When we do introduce new features, they'll come with rock-solid safety systems in place.

The UP Difference

We don't allow content that promotes or includes:

Explicit Content

Porn, sexually explicit or suggestive content or innuendo

Harmful Content

Offensive, divisive, violent, hateful or harmful views (i.e., profanity, threats, prejudice, politically charged content, body shaming, etc.)

Addictive Substances

Content promoting addictive substances or behaviors (e.g., alcohol, drugs, gambling, etc.)

Predatory Content

Predatory or manipulative content

UP is not a form of mental health treatment, therapy, or clinical support. While we prioritize content that supports positive well-being, we cannot guarantee any specific emotional or psychological outcome for users. By using UP, you acknowledge that this policy does not create a contractual right to post content or to remain on the platform. We retain full discretion over what content is allowed and who is permitted to publish on UP.

We reserve the right to update, change, or modify this policy at any time as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the platform and keep our community safe. Use of the platform is subject to ongoing review, and creators may be removed at any time if their content violates our standards — including the use of flagged or restricted keywords.

This policy does not constitute a legal agreement between UP and any creator, and nothing herein shall be interpreted as granting a guarantee of access or permanence on the platform.
